Founded in 2015 as an animation studio, founder Gurleen Rai is now returning to her fashion roots to creative new narratives through design.
Zim + Teemo focuses on slow fashion. All our materials are thoughtfully scavenged, thrifted, and sourced from local vendors. We naturally dye our materials in-house so our pieces are released in limited quantities, ensuring that you receive something truly rare.
In contrast to the mainstream fashion industry, transparency is at the heart of our identity. We take pride in sharing how our pieces are made because they’re all ethically designed, processed, and constructed in our studio based in New Orleans, Louisiana. For us, the process is just as significant as the final product, because the energy and time invested in each piece carries forward to when it’s being worn.
